Art Deco E Gomme G-plan Sideboard

A stunning Art Deco Cabinet dating from the 1930s. It has beautiful art deco curves and some lovely detailing created by the veneer. E Gomme was founded in High Wycombe in 1898 by Ebeneezer Gomme before it became popular for it’s midcentury modern range of furniture, G Plan, in the 50s.

There are two cupboards to the front, one with a set of four drawers inside drawers and two cupboards, the top one with original lining tray. There are handy cupboards on either side of the unit, one which was probably intende for glasses and one with chrome inset bottle holders. In really lovely condition for its age!

There are some small veneer chips on the bottom of two doors but it is not noticeable unless up close. The original E GOMME label is still present on the back.
